OBS!
Conclution:
After getting my BW to rank 11 getting gear and stuff it just didn’t work out at all, most of their mechanics just don’t fit with the whole “toughness” consept. This is mostly due to combustion explosions (our suiside mechanic) do not get mitigrated by toughness so that will still eat or health fast and make us explode just like skavens that eaten to mutch warpstone cookies…
So I call this project closed for the time being.
If you happend to read my first post about “brute-healers” you probably already know that my mind has a screew loose. And also I’m a survivability junky that likes to abuse classes, now in the post about brute-healers I take a class with high survivability and make it ridiculously high with the help of “brute-gear”.
After some testing It worked really well, at the middle game rank of 20 you can get up to about 300-500 toughness depending on how lucky you are with drops. Now, just for the fun of it (and to get some side project, grinding influence with a healer is a pain) I desired to take the “weakest” class in the game and abuse gear to get up her survivability. So Bright Wizards here I come!
Now before starting you should read about gear etc. at the post about brute-healers, the only difference is that you switch will for intellect.
Oki, before I start lvling I just googled around a bit to find the pq rewards (my main source of equipments) just to see if it would be remotely plausible. And luck was on my side as not only do the gear match the zealots gear, it outgoes it in terms of “brutishness”.
Here’s a list of the t2 pq brute-gear, this will be your first set of brute gear throu the game and hopefully it will work.

Keep in mind that this is just a fraction of the gear you’ll be using, most other pieces gets to you by drops or from having renown ranking, so don’t worry about the small numbers.
Now to pure theory:
A zealot at a rank of 20 have more then 100 base toughness so lets take that as our base atm. (if you have a Bright Wizard at rank 20 please give me feedback on how much base toughness you have)
Onto this we get 100 extra toughness from the pq gear, and 57 from renown skills witch pretty mutch leaves you with a sum of 257 toughness. Quite a bunch already, but there’s still more to come!
Now the pieces of gear that you don’t get from pq’s will mostly be greenys from drops or auctions.
These pieces are missing atm:
Head; Not 100% sure but you could at least get 10 toughness from this slot.
Cloak; A descent rank 15-20 cloak will have about +20 of a certain stat so lets say you found one of those toughness ones.
Accessories: We only have one atm. and lets say we take the three rvr rings so that’s another +18 toughness.
This will put us well above 300 toughness at rank 20, so in theory the Bright wizzard can be brute equiped but it’s how it goes in practic that I need to test. So hold your thumbs for me and lets se if I can make another wierd thought go the way it’s suposed to. ^^

Hm.. its sad not too much people seem to have found out about this yet. Its bloody interesting, perhaps the most interesting thing about WaR I’ve got in contact to yet
